Effects you can simulate

• Ink depletion level — Control how far the cartridge has run down, from slightly faded to nearly ghost-printed.
• Washed-out colour — Colours become desaturated and pale as ink runs out, eventually collapsing to near-monochrome.
• Streaking — Vertical streaks from partially clogged nozzles. Characteristic of inkjet printers with dried heads.
• Horizontal banding — Rows of lighter or missing print as the print head starves at the end of a swipe. Classic laser toner symptom.
• Missing colour channels — Simulate a specific cartridge (cyan, magenta or yellow) running out entirely while others are still full.
• Contrast & lightness — Fine-tune the base image before depletion is applied for precise artistic control.
